A beautiful antique Albert Chain necklace set in 9ct rose gold.
Each link is hallmarked 9 and 375 denoting 9ct gold and the makers mark 'WJS' is found on the T Bar. The chain is 15 inches in length and features a T bar with double clasps at the back - the clasps are in yellow gold. It is Birmingham hallmarked on a ring near the T bar with the date letter E which dates the piece to the Victorian era.
This is a superb example of the skilled craftsmanship of that time. The 15 inch length is quite short and fits perfectly in the nape of the neck. It could be worn by itself or stacked up amongst other pieces.
Weight is 28.3 grams.
