Original 19th century Belgian oil on panel of a lady wearing an evening dress, sitting in her parlour, in deep thought (regrets?), having been handed a bunch of flowers, unwrapped on the table to her left.
Attributed to 'Van Santvoort'. Circa 1880.
Signed bottom right (indistinct signature). Marked 'Van Antvoort' on reverse.
Mounted in a very fine gold gilt gesso frame.
